First up – Cecilia Brækhus, who has already etched her name in boxing history as the first woman to become an undisputed champion. Now, as the undefeated undisputed welterweight champ, she prepares to defend her titles against unified super lightweight champ Jessica McCaskill this Saturday.

Brækhus is staring down another legendary boxing feat. A win over McCaskill in Tulsa, Okla., would give Brækhus 26 consecutive title defenses, surpassing Joe Louis’ record of 25 straight.

Upping the ante even further is the Brækhus-McCaskill winner is slated to face the Aug. 22 victor between Katie Taylor and Delfine Persoon (also available on DAZN) – a position that the undefeated Brækhus (36-0, 9 KOs) would love to be in after fighting McCaskill (8-2, 3 KOs).

Brækhus also sent a message to the self-proclaimed ‘GWOAT’ Claressa Shields. “I think we have to wait for a little bit before we can declare anyone [the Greatest Woman of All-Time]. We need tome more big fights… So, Claressa calling herself the GWOAT, it’s great for the attention and women’s boxing, but she has to prove herself a little bit more first.”

Also coming up on DAZN next week (Saturday 22nd of Agust) is the highly anticipated heavyweight bout between WBC’s number 1 ranked contender Dillian Whyte and the former WBA world champion, Alexandr Povetkin. We’re expecting fireworks in this one.
