BKM & BG BROADCAST ‘FOTY’ RUNNER UP!

The British Boxing Board of Control have announced their winner for the 2019 Fight of the Year award for the Midland’s and proud partners Boxing King Media & Boxing Guru are delighted to have finished runner up for the accolade, having won the overall award previously in 2018.

We are privileged to be working with promotion company BCB Promotions (check them out!) who are consistently bringing you some of the best live boxing available to watch for free! It’s a pleasure to work with them and broadcast their shows, which are available to watch globally via Boxing King Media’s Facebook channel.

The runner up bout for the Midland’s FOTY was for the vacant BBB of C Midlands Middleweight Title between Nathan Heaney and Tom Stokes. Broadcast live from a full house at the King’s Hall in Stoke last June, the fighters put on an amazing fight for the fans which included a showman’s walk out from home favourite & fight winner, Nathan Heaney. As well as the action providing one of the greatest boxing spectacles of 2019, the fans played their part too producing one of the best atmosphere’s we have ever witnessed at a small hall boxing show.

The live event pulled in over 50,000 views in total and a further 30,000 tuned in later to watch the highlights via our Instagram channel.

Our aim is to support and promote small hall boxing, it’s fantastic to be able to broadcast these kind of shows and provide the opportunity for these young boxers and great fights to be watched by thousands of people.
